Please note that selling of SBP shares are subjected to normal broker charges of $40+ dollars. Not the $25+ which we are familiar for online trading, because it cannot be transacted by end user. Concidentally, I have called the OCBC hotline on some queries and did some comparison with SBP 1. Any dividends, rights, warrants etc are not charged handling cost. This is not what I understand. As long you are covered under medishield with no exclusion, even if you have upgraded either to the same insurer or different insurer, you should be covered under medishield for full and exlcuded for the upgraded portion. Haha. Don't have to sweat on the 0.++%. It helps to give a good feel of what is like so that the serious investor can do the real stuff. i.e. study more in depth.

I like to comment on the charges. Comparing to the similar product i.e. unit trust sales charges is cost 1% based on fundsupermart.com. Management fund is approx 1.5%. Expense ratio is 1.5% Total cost is 4% SBP is only $6.42 for premium less than $1k. The handling cost can go as low as 0.642%. Thus ...
